As a professional photographer, I believe it's my job to tell stories by capturing moments. My style is a mix of documentary photography and fine-art portraits. I love to capture the moments when you're forgetting all about posing and feeling totally relaxed. Actually when you're just having fun. The result is a series of beautiful photos which will take you back to these special moments. They tell your story and that's what I'm all about!

I'm based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands but I love to travel. So don't hesitate to contact me to tag along!

Let me start by sharing something funny with you. As I started my business, I thought my main focus would be The Netherlands, hence the Dutch company name Door Lana. Little did I know that I needed a more international name, since people started to address me as Door...

So, I would like to introduce myself: Hi, my name is Lana! Door means by in Dutch. So basically it's By Lana ;)

I looove to take photographs of people, but more than that I love to create art. I think it has something magical to capture a kiss, smile or gentle touch in a way that it becomes an artistic image. A fine-art photograph that you keep looking at. It makes me proud and humble knowing I could contribute to your happiness by just doing what I love to do. Photography and art has always been my passion and maybe it's also my way of giving something back to the world.

I'm a proud mom of two boys Fynn & Mick and madly in love with their father Dennis. We met each other at college and have been together since '06. In the summer of ‘18 we exchanged vows in front of our family and intimate friends between two charming old oaks somewhere in the countryside of Twente.

I love the wild outdoors and going on trips with my little family, enjoying those late pancake breakfasts or pizza on movie nights. If I’m not documenting anything I like to curl up on the couch with my favorite blanket and a good book. Though, I would't say no to Netflix either!

I'm a wedding photographer for the wildly-in-loves. For people who understand that love is messy, wild and beautiful... as is life. I'm all about perfect imperfections. Choose the wedding that fits your style and you as a couple and I will capture all of your essence!
